According to a prosecutor, one of the teenagers accused of murdering a Spanish teacher with a baseball bat is scheduled to testify against his co-defendant. Jefferson County Attorney Chauncey Moulding informed the court that “the case against Mr. Miller and Mr. Goodale has been severed.” They were scheduled to go on trial separately, but since then, Mr. Goodale has joined the prosecution and is named as a witness against Mr. Miller.

During a hearing to suppress evidence against 17-year-old Willard Noble Chaiden Miller, this occurred. Miller’s defence made attempts to get his remarks to law enforcement suppressed, such as by claiming that he was denied access to a solicitor while being questioned. Moulding insisted that the adolescent gave his consent to speak to the police and did so voluntarily.

According to court records, a witness who knew Goodale allegedly gave law enforcement access to the defendant’s Snapchat chats, which revealed that Goodale and Miller “were complicit in the planning, execution, and disposal of evidence” connected to their teacher’s killing.

A timeline of the victim’s final moments and the immediate aftermath is included in the court records. On the day of her death, about 4:00 p.m., Graber reportedly left her car at the park. Around 42 minutes later, her car exited the park’s parking area, followed by a pickup truck. According to her relatives, “to know Nohema was to love her – she was the kind of person every community longs to have in its midst and we were lucky to have her in our life.” ”
