Noel Gallagher Wiki, Biography

Noel Gallagher and his wife, publicist Sara Macdonald, recently announced their divorce. On January 13, a spokesperson for the couple confirmed the news and issued a statement, noting that their children “will continue to be their priority.”

The statement mentioned:

“Noel and Sara will continue together taking care of their children, who continue to be their priority. Noel and Sara ask the media to respect their privacy and that of our family at this time.”

The couple met in Ibiza in June 2000, when Noel Gallagher was married to Meg Mathews. Noel separated from Meg in 2001 and began dating Sara that same year.

Noel and Sara got married in 2011 in a private ceremony in the New Forest, England. They share two sons, Donovan and Sonny, who were born in September 2007 and October 2010, respectively.

In addition, Noel Gallagher also has a daughter from his first marriage, Anaïs Gallagher, born in January 2000.

Noel Gallagher has three children from two marriages.

A source close to the couple revealed that Noel Gallagher has moved out of the former couple’s joint home. Sara is currently staying at the Hampshire estate, but in time, she may wish to move to London.

The source told The Sun:

“It’s a big shame, but they’re trying to keep it as civil as possible.”
Noel has three children from his two marriages. Anaïs, 22, Donovan, 15, and Sonny, 12.

Anaïs was born when the former Oasis frontman was married to interior designer and former music executive Meg Matthews. Noel and Meg met on Oasis’s previous label, Creation, and married in Las Vegas in 1997. They announced their split in 2000, just eight months after Anaïs was born.

Meg and Noel share a civil relationship because of their daughter, but apparently they don’t have any love lost between them, although Meg has admitted that Noel is a great father.

Anaïs is a model, photographer and student at the University of Arts London. She often records her father during his tours and concerts. Noel Gallagher posted a video taken by Anaïs on Saturday, January 14, teasing the announcement of his new album.

Music seems to be a common thread in the Gallagher family.

Noel previously shared at a Radio X event that 12-year-old Sonny is his “little protégé” of his and that watching him perform at a school concert was a moment of great pride.

Claus commented:

“I was at his school concert the other night, he did his first concert. I got a little knot in my stomach because I was like ‘He’s only ten,’ you know what I mean? And I have never been so proud of anything or anyone in my life. It was great, it was amazing.”

He also shared that he hopes his son doesn’t start too early and he doesn’t get bored with music when he’s 18 years old.

The singer then opened up about his other son, Donovan (15), who was born in September 2007. Noel admitted that he has a hard time understanding the music the teenager listens to, calling it “urban grime.”

He added:

“You say, ‘What the hell is that? Has a spaceship landed in the backyard?’ No, he’s the one upstairs playing in his dirt.”

Additional information about Noel’s two children remains unavailable at the time of writing this article.

Noel announces new album and teases Oasis reunion

Immediately after the news of his divorce, Noel Gallagher announced the release of his new album, Council Skies, and released a new single, Easy Now.

The music video for the single features Milly Alcock of House of the Dragon.

After an explosive fight with his brother and former bandmate Liam Gallagher, Noel recently said “never say never” about reuniting the iconic British band in a BBC Radio Manchester interview.

Noel shared that it would take “an extraordinary set of circumstances,” however, “that’s not to say that those circumstances would never happen.”

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, the artist’s current band, is gearing up for the release of his new album and preparing a concert at Wythenshawe Park this year. The homecoming concert will be the band’s first headlining performance since 2019.
