Along with the FBI and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, the South Brunswick Police Department is investigating the abduction that occurred Wednesday afternoon. Police Chief Raymond Hayducka said:

On Wednesday around 2:00 p.m., authorities were alerted to a woman calling for help from inside a truck alongside a New Jersey highway and bleeding from her face.

Shortly after, the injured woman and the truck left the scene. Thereafter, an exhaustive investigation lasting 26 hours was based mainly on the public’s knowledge and clues. Police described the New Jersey woman as “white/Hispanic,” in her 20s, and she had long brown hair.

In the end, Woodbridge is where the victim and suspect were discovered. Instead of the initial theory that the event was a stranger kidnapping, the two admitted to knowing each other, although their precise relationship is still unknown.

According to police, there could be a domestic argument, News12 reported. Sergeant Hoover, a deputy, stated to WABC:

The biggest tip was provided by Gabrielli Truck Sales, which is a business located near the scene of the event on Route 130. Chief Raymond Hayducka expressed his thanks to the public for helping with the investigation in a press release:

The participants in the case have been taken to the police station. To determine precisely what happened Wednesday at the New Jersey instance, investigations are ongoing.
