Natalie, of Cuban ancestry, she is the daughter of Odalys and Manuel Martinez. She went to St. Brendan High School, and after matriculation in 2012 enrolled at Miami Dade College, but there is no record of her graduation from this prestigious educational institution.

From an early age, Natalie dreamed of becoming a model, and her earliest engagements lead to her dream becoming a reality. Once her role as Pilar came to an end, she auditioned for the lead female role in the action thriller film “Death Race”, and apparently the casting producers immediately chose her for the part. The film, written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and starring Jason Statham,  became a complete success, which propelled Natalie to stardom. She continued rather successfully, going back to television roles, and in 2010 she started portraying Detective Ariana Sanchez in the crime-drama series “Detroit 1-8-7”, and through the next year appeared in 18 episodes of the highly-acclaimed TV series.
