Cause of Death
Maghnie, a Comancheros associate who was most recently under investigation over the double-shooting at the Love Machine nightclub last April, was shot and killed in the carpark of a Taco Bill restaurant at the intersection of Childs Road and Dalton Road, Epping, about 8.30pm on Thursday
Police confirmed on Thursday night that Maghnie died at the scene.
Two other men were shot and were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One of the men is believed to be one of Maghnie’s sons.
Investigation Report
Police helicopter circled the area after police and paramedics attended the scene.
A video showed Maghnie and one other man lying on the ground, topless, being attended to by paramedics.
Emergency workers were called to an intersection at Epping about 8.30pm on Thursday after three people were shot.
Police said a man believed to be in his 40s died at the scene. Two other men who had been shot were taken to hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
