Myraida Chaves Carbia who was known as a producer and television host and director of the Centro de Bellas Artes de Caguas is being reported to have passed away on April 22nd, 2021 at the age of 61, after a tough battle against cancer.

Myraida Chaves was the daughter of the first lady of the Puerto Rican comedian, actress, and impersonato Awilda Carbia and José Chaves. Myraida started on television as a child with the child character Estrellita Galaxia.
