Minttu Virtanen is the wife of Kimi Raikkonen, Minttu, whose full name is Minna-Mari, is a Finnish fitness model. The former air hostess has also been studying to become a personal trainer. She is part of a fleet of glamorous F1 WAGS, including Max Verstappen’s girlfriend Dilara Sanlik and Olympic swimmer Emilia – who is married to Valtteri Bottas.
Minttu is the woman who has tamed F1’s famous playboy and 2007 World Champion Kimi. Known as the Ice Man because of his monosyllabic interview answers, her hubby is currently driving for Ferrari. He was previously married to Miss Scandinavia 2001 Jenni Dahlman.
The couple separated in February 2013 and made the divorce official a year later. Kimi started dating Minttu soon after. The pair met through mutual friends and, according to reports, sparks instantly flew. The couple has two kids, a boy called Robin and a girl called Rianna, and married in a lavish ceremony in Siena, Italy, in August 2016.

Kimi Raikkonen announces retirement from Formula 1

Kimi Raikkonen will lower the curtain on his long and illustrious career in Formula 1 at the end of this season. The 41-year-old 2007 world champion started his career in 2001 and has competed in more races than any other driver in the history of the sport.
Raikkonen has raced for Alfa Romeo for the past three seasons since he finished his second spell at Ferrari. Announcing his retirement on Instagram, Raikkonen said: “This is it. This will be my last season in Formula 1. This is a decision I made last winter. It was not an easy decision, but after this season it is time to new stuff”.

Finnish compatriot Valtteri Bottas is considered the favorite to replace Raikkonen at Alfa Romeo next year with George Russell seemingly set to take the lead seat alongside Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes. One of the most famous laconic stars in world sport, Raikkonen has established a cult following among fans during his two decades in the sport since he debuted at age 21 with the Sauber team (now Alfa Romeo).
At his peak, the Finn was for a time considered the fastest driver on the grid, winning the majority of his 21 races in the 2000s with first McLaren and then Ferrari, where he became world champion in his first season in red after being selected to succeed Michael Schumacher.
Raikkonen edged out rebellious McLaren teammates Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso at the end of the 2007 season in Brazil, having been nearly out of mathematical competition with two rounds to go.
Dropped out by the Scuderia two years after winning the title, Raikkonen left F1 for two years and competed in the World Rally Championship before returning for a second season in the sport since 2012 with then-team Lotus.

Rehired by Ferrari for 2014 to start a second five-year season at Maranello, the Finn typically played second fiddle to Fernando Alonso and then Sebastian Vettel, but he last won at the 2018 United States GP in Austin, at age 39. years.
He then took a complete turn by returning to the team he started with and at last October’s Eifel GP at the Nurburgring, he broke Rubens Barrichello’s record of 322 races. Raikkonen has competed in 341 Grands Prix with 10 races still to go of what will now be his last season.
