Mimi Lucking is the wife of William Lucking, was an American film, television, and stage actor, best known for his role as Piney Winston in Sons of Anarchy (2008–2011), and for his movie roles in The Magnificent Seven Ride (1972), and The Rundown (2003). He was also known for his portrayal of Col. Lynch in the first season of the 1980s TV show The A-Team.
Lucking was born on June 17, 1941, in Michigan and moved with his family to California in the 1950s. With a degree in literature from UCLA, he further studied theater at the Pasadena Playhouse.
Throughout his long career in Hollywood, he played a wide range of characters on the big and small screen, including 1976 one. Raw Oklahoma, in front of Faye Dunaway; Colonel Lynch original on NBC Team A in the 80s; and in different roles in the Star trek Serie Deep space 9 and Company during the 1990s and 2000s, respectively.
Lucking began his career in the late 1960s and early 1970s with guest roles on such popular series as Mission Impossible, Ironside, The Virginian, The Partridge Family and Bonanza. He continued to work regularly in films and television over the following decades, with roles in series including Kojak, Gunsmoke, M * A * S * H, CHiPs, and The Waltons, movies like Doc Savage: Man of Bronze, Extreme Justice, and The wild river.
Along the way, Lucking starred in two short-lived television series – CBS police dramas. Shannon (1981-82) and Outlaws (1986-1987).
Lucking joined the cast of Kurt suttermotorcycle drama Sons of Anarchy during his debut season in 2008 as Piney Winston, one of the founding members of the motorcycle club with his best friend John Teller. The character was part of the First 9 and is known to fiercely protect the club’s legacy from both outsiders and more importantly insiders like Clay Murrow (Ron Perlman), who was ruining the club and what it originally stood for.

Lucking is survived by his wife, two daughters, Marjet Lucking and Juliana Ryan, and their families.
William Lucking Cause of Death
Lucking died on October 18 at his home in Las Vegas. No cause of death has been revealed.
An obituary shared by his wife Sigrid Lucking says: “Although William often played tough and strong men, in his real-life he was an elegant man with a brilliant intellect who loved to discuss politics and current affairs, argue about philosophy. and physics, and make good statements. Specific opinions on art and poetry. ”
But after he was diagnosed with emphysema in 1991 and a major drinking problem, Piney’s health began to fail. He remained on the show for four seasons and nearly 50 episodes until the character was killed. Piney’s legacy continued through his son Opie Winston (Ryan Hurst), best friend of series protagonist Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam), John’s son.
