Matt Painter is an American former basketball player and mentor. He is the men’s basketball mentor at Purdue University, a position he has held since 2005. Before coming to Purdue, Painter taught in Southern Illinois, Eastern Illinois, Barton College, and Washington and Jefferson College before coming to Purdue.
