Maritza Collado & Jorge Masvidal
In April, Covington told Mac Life that Masvidal and Maritza Collado are husband and wife. He also said that Gamebred’s children are Maritza’s and that his marriage to his ex-wife Iman Kawa was a lie. “The mother of his children and his wife who is still on the marriage certificate today – they have not yet divorced – is Maritza Collado … Maritza Masvidal,” Covington had said.
Later, he told sports reporter and producer Helen Yee that Masvidal had cheated on Maritza and lied to her children about her mother. “He’s a shitty person. He cheated on his wife; he cheated on his children. He lies to his children. He’s just not a good person. So I want to expose him in front of everyone,” Covington commented through by Heavy.
But at the time, Masvidal fans came to his defense, blaming Covington for doing a publicity stunt. Regarding Kawa, it has been said that she was Masvidal’s former love interest. They were together for about a decade and share three children: two daughters and a son. However, in 2019, they parted ways.
FC star who criticized Colin Kaepernick accused of cheating
FC star Jorge Masvidal called Colin Kaepernick a “coward” on social media on Friday. Masvidal commented on a Turning Point USA post through his Instagram Stories. The post featured Kaepernick from 2016 wearing a Fidel Castro t-shirt alongside a photo of the protests in Cuba.
“Know your history and cowardly facts like this fool who should be sent to live in Cuba to see what they say after a day there,” he wrote. Kaepernick was criticized for wearing the shirt. At the time, he said he agreed with Castro’s “investment in education” and “investment in universal health care.”
“I agree with the investment in education,” the former NFL quarterback said at the time, via Sports Illustrated. “I also agree with investing in free universal health care, as well as participating to help end apartheid in South Africa. … I hope everyone agrees that those things are good. And trying to push forward the False narrative that I was a supporter of the oppressive things he did is simply not true.
“One thing that Fidel Castro did is that they have the highest literacy rate because they invest more in their education system than in their prison system. Which we do not do here, although we are fully capable of doing it.”
Masvidal shed some light on the history of his family escaping the Cuban regime. He described the Cuban government as a “killing machine.” My father escaped from Cuba when he was 14 years old, “Masvidal said in a video.” And I’ve only heard the horror stories since I was able to process thoughts of how the m … – this communist regime, it’s a killing machine. So I just want to shed some light on Cuba, a great SOS sign for them.
“This oppression has been going on for 61 years. It is not only because of the pandemic, or it is not only because they ran out of medicines, because they have run out of medicines, they have run out of resources and food. Because of the corrupt government, extreme corruption where only a few at the top eat and everyone else has to suffer, those days have to come to an end. ”
He called the world to unite behind Cuba. He believes that it is everyone’s job to publicize “these corrupt governments.” Masvidal, who is 35-15 in his career, recently fought UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman but suffered the loss after being knocked out in the second round.
