Amanda Anisimova was born on August 31, 2001, in Freehold Township, New Jersey. “At this moment, my focus is my mental health and taking a vacation for a while. I’ve worked as hard as I could to get through this.”

Earlier this month, she returned to the WTA Tour, reaching the second round in Auckland and winning her opening round match. Anisimova said after her triumph how fortunate she felt to prioritize her mental health above her work.
