Lynn Tolliver Jr., a Cleveland radio personality, died Feb. 13 at age 71. Since the mid-1980s, he has been a featured DJ at 93.1 WZAK. Lynn died of an unexplained illness, according to WKSU. The radio broadcast confirmed the news in an online media post, writing:
“A symbol of Cleveland has died. Lynn Tolliver Jr. was the one who introduced radio to WZAK during the 1980s. From now on, our considerations and requests are with her immediate family.”
About Lynn Tolliver Jr. For was a prominent radio personality who helped establish WZAK with a radio station in the guide during the 1980s. He remained with the station until 2000, after which he resigned and continued to broadcast his web radio broadcast, Radio 9311.
Tolliver spent most of his career in radio having previously worked in industrial facilities, doing some fruitful radio projects, working as an announcer and playing five years with the United States Postal Service.
