Who is Logan Moreau
Child actor Logan Moreau was born on 27th January 2012 in Los Angeles, California, USA, and is known for playing Toby Duncan in the fourth season of “Good Luck Charlie”, a role which he took on after Jake Cinoa at just one year old, sponsored by his parents.
Toby Duncan is the fifth Duncan child and was definitely a surprise addition to the beloved on-screen family. In fact, he was added to the show when actress Leigh-Allyn Baker became pregnant, and asked the creators to write in a new character. According to the “Good Luck Charlie” wiki, thanks to his cheeky and outgoing personality, Toby had the potential to become a troublemaker like his older brother Gabe. As Toby was just one year old in season four, there obviously wasn’t much character development when it came to the toddler.
As for Logan himself, there’s not much available information either. An outdated biography claims that the child actor’s first word was kitty and that he resides in California with his parents and two pet cats; his height is listed as 3ft 7 in (109cm) tall, which is unlikely if he’s now a pre-teen.
Surprisingly, Logan retired from acting after 20 episodes of “Good Luck Charlie”. He’d also played Toby in an episode of the spin-off “Jessie”, and made an uncredited appearance in the crime drama series “Bones”. The youngster also appeared in an episode of the animated children’s show “Team Umizoomi”.
These days, the quickest way to find anyone is via social media. However, Logan’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts are all unverified and inactive, with the last posts dating all the way back to 2014 or 2015. At this point, we can only assume that Logan’s parents decided to pull him out of showbiz, so that he could have a normal childhood, including focusing on his studies.
“Good Luck Charlie”
The wholesome American sitcom “Good Luck Charlie” was created by Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen, and aired on Disney Channel from April 2010 to February 2014. Despite Disney being a kid’s channel, Phil and Drew focused on the whole family, as they wanted the show to appeal to parents and children alike.
The fictitious Duncan family of Denver were the main characters, and as they navigated the births of their fourth and fifth children, they also added regular entries to a video diary with advice for Charlie that would serve her well in future years. The video diary was the idea of Teddy Duncan (played by Bridgit Mendler), the second-born Duncan sibling.
The “Good Luck Charlie” premiere was viewed by 4.7 million, and was that week’s highest-rated cable program, as well as the highest-rated series premiere for a Disney Channel Original Series since 2008. The most-watched episode, which aired in June 2012, garnered an astonishing 7.48 million viewers.
Despite being lauded by viewers and critics, the sitcom ended after 97 episodes and four seasons, a strategy that Disney apparently employs with all its programs to avoid shows becoming stale. (Originally, Disney ended shows after a maximum of 65 episodes, a rule which they amended in 2004 thanks to the popularity of “That’s So Raven”). However, fans of the show have been clamoring for a revival, so it’s possible that we’ll be hearing about a “Good Luck Charlie” spin-off sometime in the future.
Co-Stars
Bridgit Mendler was the undoubted star of the show “Good Luck Charlie”. Born in December 1992 in Washington, D.C., she signed with Disney Channel in 2009 to play Juliet van Heusen in “Wizards of Waverly Place”, soon becoming one of the network’s most recognizable faces.
When the sitcom came to an end, Bridgit had roles in “Undateable”, “Nashville”, and “Merry Happy Whatever” to name a few. She also released her extended play (EP) “Nemesis”, which is the follow-up to her debut studio album “Hello My Name Is…”. Some of the many accolades Bridget has collected during her career include a Radio Disney Music Award and a Common Sense Media Award in the Best Role Model category. These days, Bridgit is working on her PhD from MIT’s Center for Constructive Communications and Social Machines group.

Leigh-Allyn Baker, who played the Duncan family matriarch Amy, also had an impressive career after “Good Luck Charlie”. In 2015, she starred in and executively produced the Disney Channel Original Movie “Bad Hair Day”, co-starring alongside Laura Marano. The following year, she had a starring role in the wholesome holiday movie “Wish for Christmas”. Her latest movie role was playing Grace Ackerman in “Family Camp”.
Next is Bradley Steven Perry, who was born in November 1998, and portrayed Gabe Duncan. Despite being active in the entertainment industry since just eight years old, Bradley’s career slowed down considerably after his last prominent role, that of Zevon in “Descendants: Wicked World”, due to him enrolling at the University of Southern California, from where he graduated in 2021. These days, the actor is working on his new cooking show, which is available to view on YouTube; he also makes the occasional appearances on podcasts such as “Hit the Brake”.
Mia Talerico, who played the title character, currently boasts over a million Instagram followers, and describes herself as an actor, influencer, and creator. In September 2023, the blonde celebrated her 15th birthday – the milestone event came mere weeks after her first day of ninth grade, which she jokingly commemorated with an Instagram post captioned: “Your yearly remind that your [sic] getting old, First day of high school!!!”.
As for Eric Allan Kramer, who played family guy Bob Duncan, the actor and fight choreographer has recently had a slew of guest-starring appearances in shows such as “CSI: Las Vegas” and “The Conners”. He and most of the “Good Luck Charlie” stars featured in a 2020 reunion with Entertainment Tonight, which aired during the COVID-19 pandemic. During the 24-minute Zoom meeting, Eric and his former castmates (sans Logan) discussed what they’re currently doing, and shared some of their best experiences on the legendary show.
Lastly, Jason Dolley – who was born in July 1991 and depicted the oldest Duncan sibling, PJ – graduated from California Lutheran University in 2016, and slowly phased out of acting. Apart from a recurring role in the sitcom “American Housewife”, and a handful of low-budget movies, Jason hasn’t been up to much; however, he still retains a respectable fanbase, and appears to be focusing on his music career.
