Livia Brito Pestana was born on the 21st July 1986, in Ciego, Avila, Cuba; she is the daughter of Gertrudis Pestana and actor Rolando Brito Rodriguez, and spent her childhood and early puberty in Cuba, and then when she was between 13 and 14 years old, her family moved to Mexico. Her father started a restaurant with Cuban dishes, named La Cubana, and young Livia served as a waitress, while also trying herself as a model.
