Sir Kenneth Charles Branagh (born December 10, 1960) is a British animator and director. He is the recipient of an Academy Award, four BAFTA Awards (counting two privileged scholarships), two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe.
After eight selections, Kenneth Branagh accepted his first Academy Award at the 94th Academy Awards in Hollywood. Belfast, Branagh’s transition film set towards the beginning of The Troubles, won the award for best single screenplay.
