Who is Lee Rowe? Wiki, Biography, Age, Family, Found guilty of assault, Charged

Lee Rowe Wiki – Lee Rowe Biography

Lee Rowe upset other parents with his ‘selfish’ habit of parking his ‘flash’ Range Rover outside the front gates of his son’s nursery school. An ‘arrogant’ father who lost his temper and attacked a mother for refusing to move out of her way in a line over the parking lot at the school gates has been convicted of assault.

On the morning of 20 May 2021, Rowe, from Poole in Dorset, stopped to find mother Sarah Collins standing in the road, so he honked her horn. But Ms. Collins was aware of Rowe’s story of “inconsiderate parking” and she refused to budge for him. A court heard that she shook her head and mouthed the word ‘No’. Businessman Rowe stopped next to her, stormed out of her, and used both of her hands to move her out of the way in front of other parents.

Ms. Collins was “very shocked” by the altercation at 9 a.m. They took her to the principal’s office and called the police. She described her arm aching when she was pushed and complained about Rowe’s history of inconsiderate parking near the school.

Lee Rowe Charged – Found Guilty

Ms. Collins, who is in her 40s, said: ‘She had walked to the infant school to drop her off. ‘There were a lot of parents dropping off the kids just before the start of the day. She was facing the school, her back to the road.

“When I heard a horn go off, I turned around to see Mr. Rowe gesturing with both hands for me to move. I shook my head and turned to look at the school. “I was really surprised when he moved the car further forward and the next thing I knew the man got out of the car and pushed me out of the way.

“Once he left, other parents came to see if he was okay, and one of them took me to the principal’s office to call the police. “I had watched Mr. Rowe drive before this incident and thought he was not thinking of others when he was parking right outside the school.”

Diane Worboys, a teaching assistant at the school, witnessed the incident. She described Rowe as “visibly angry”. She said: ‘I turned around when I heard a car horn blare. I saw a man get out of the car and aggressively push the woman onto the pavement.

‘He seemed angry, my first concern was to get the rest of the children into the school.’ Charles Nightingale, the accuser, said: ‘Witnesses say he used both of her hands to push her out of the way. This crosses the threshold of the illegal use of force.

‘In his own words, he arrogantly decided that he had to park in that particular space outside the school gates. He could have parked somewhere else and avoided all of this. Rowe, from Poole, denied the assault but admitted he had ‘arrogantly’ parked in his usual space on the street, but said he did not touch Mrs. Collins.

He said: ‘I never laid a hand on that woman, never laid a hand on any woman. “For the last two years, I wished I could park somewhere different. I guess it was arrogant that she decided to park there even though he was close to the curb. James Moor, in her defense, told Ms. Collins that her client never pushed her.

He said: ‘She called you to ask you to move and you refused. You shook your head and said “No.” He didn’t pull off the curb because he wanted to have a confrontation with Mr. Rowe about his driving.

You thought he was arrogant and you were excited. ‘You were trying to teach him a lesson for inconsiderate parking and driving a fancy car, weren’t you?’

Ms. Collins denied it.

Mr Nightingale said the incident was witnessed by two parents and Mrs Worboys. He said it was unlikely that the four witnesses had come together to ‘manufacture’ a story.

He said: “There is a big difference between the defendant’s and the witnesses’ version of events.”

Rowe was found guilty of assault by Chief Magistrate Leonard Vickery following a trial at Poole Magistrates Court.

He said: ‘We have considered all the evidence and all the witnesses we have heard agreed that the defendant pushed Ms Collins. He was reckless of her to continue standing on the curb when asked to move. “We do not believe Mr Rowe intended to cause harm, but he himself admits that he believes he may have inadvertently pushed her.

“Therefore, we find Mr. Rowe guilty of assault.” Rowe was sentenced to an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £200 in court costs and a £22 victim surcharge.
