Ilg said that her son somehow got into the bedroom while she was doing laundry and started playing with the gun.
She told police that she did not realize the boy had the gun when she suddenly shot him in the back.Her husband, who was at work at the time of the shooting, posted a tribute on Facebook to his wife and son killed in the ordeal.
