Born Kiele Michelle Sanchez on the 13th October 1977 in Chicago, Illinois USA, Kiele is an actress, best known to the world for her portrayal of Callie Cargill in the TV crime-drama series “The Glades” (2010-2013), and as Lisa Prince in the TV drama series “Kingdom” (2014-2017), among many other differing appearances.

Early Life and Career Beginnings

Kiele was raised in a family of four children, of Puerto Rican and French ancestry; her father worked as racetrack jockey agent. Kiele attended Glenbard North High School, located in Carol Stream, Illinois, where she started developing her acting talents and debuted in the school production of “The Grapes of Wrath” – she had stage fright during her high school days, but managed to overcome it, thanks to her successful performance in this particular play. She started her professional career by auditioning for the contest “Wanna Be a Vj”, by MTV, however, although not victorious she reached the first five, and was noticed by a talent manager who immediately offered to represent her, and soon after she headed to Hollywood.

She made her acting debut in the made-for-television film “Live Girls”, and then appeared as Dream Woman in the drama “Migrating Forms”, both in 2000. Two years later she portrayed Claudia Wills-Glass in the TV drama series “That Was Then”, and then in 2003 she was selected for the role of Susan Kelly in the TV comedy series “Married to the Kellys” (2003-2004). She continued with television roles as she was selected to play Anne Sorelli in the comedy drama “Related” (2005-2006), and then joined the cast of the highly popular TV series “Lost” in its third season, playing Nikki Fernandez. However, due to fan critiques, her character was killed-off after only 14 episodes in the award-winning show. Nevertheless, that didn’t affect Kiele and her career, as she starred in the drama film “Football Wives” (2007), then in 2008 in the horror thriller “Insanitarium”, next to Jesse Metcalfe, which increased her net worth.

Kiele then portrayed Stella in the horror “30 Days of Night: Dark Days”, a sequel to “30 Days of Night” and released in 2007, taking over the starring role of Stella from Melissa George.
