Kerstin Emhoff is an American film producer. She is the CEO of Ventureland, a creative studio developing entertainment properties and original IP alongside the top filmmakers and studios. In addition to Ventureland, Emhoff is the CEO of Prettybird, an award-winning hybrid production company specializing in branded and music content with a roster of diverse creators and filmmakers.
Prettybird has produced some of the most high-profile and internationally renowned work of the last decade. Their award-winning work has picked up Grammy’s, Cannes Lions & Grand Prix, MTV Video Music Awards, Clios, and others including being named Creativity’s 2015 Production Company of the Year.
Prettybird’s films have won Grammy Awards, Emmy Awards, and Cannes Lions, while she personally won a News & Documentary Emmy Award in 2012. She was executive producer of Manhunt: The Search for Bin Laden (2013), which won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special; she has also produced Emmy Award-winning The Tillman Story. She was also the producer of the 2020 documentary AKA Jane Roe.
In 2016, she founded the non-profit Pipelines, a not-for-profit initiative to increase opportunities in advertising for diverse young people. She is also a member of the DGA and Television Academy, a trustee for the PHBP, and serves on the boards of D&AD Impact Council and the Evolve Entertainment Fund with the city of Los Angeles.
