Kay Ellen Ivey (born October 15, 1944) is an American lawmaker filling in as the 54th legislative head of Alabama beginning around 2017. An individual from the Conservative Faction, she was the 38th Alabama State Financier from 2003 to 2011 and the 30th lieutenant legislative leader of Alabama from 2011 to 2017. She is the second female lead representative and first female conservative lead representative upon the abdication of her ancestor, Robert J. Bentley.
