In a 2022 case involving Crawford, Beaman was also thought to be a “potential accomplice.” According to investigating officials, he was driving the vehicle when Crawford shot someone.
After Tuesday’s capture, Bock let officers know that Crawford and Beaman were “closest of associates.” Bock further educated the police on the chain of events that occurred that day at the condo. He claimed that he had recently started seeing Crawford again. At some point, after returning to his loft in Colorado, he saw Crawford, along with Karl Beaman Jr., on the floor.
He further mentioned seeing a white plastic sack over Beaman’s head, adding that Crawford undermined it. Ultimately, he admitted that Crawford killed Beaman and that she only helped him move her body to the unfinished plumbing space of the home in the 14600 block of E. Second Road.
