After her space tourism business, Polaris, fails in season three, Karen Baldwin joins Helios. Together, Ed Baldwin, Karen’s ex-husband, and Dev Ayesa establish the Helios Mars Mission, proving their effectiveness as a team. Eventually, she invites Karen to take over as CEO, and in the Season 3 finale, titled “Stranger in a Strange Land,” she briefs Dev on the development.
