On Monday, August 7, Fritsch was taken into custody by police in Oregon City, Oregon, charged with second-degree murder, abuse of a corpse, and manslaughter of Kara Taylor. In a statement from Taylor’s family issued by the Oregon City Police Department, the victim was described as a “phenomenal woman” who is survived by a 22-year-old daughter with special needs.
