Young Thug faces more trouble in the courtroom. A video of the rapper engaging in a one-on-one drug trade with co-defendant Kahlieff Adams has gone viral online. This took place during one of the rapper’s legal proceedings in his ongoing RICO trial.

In a video that has gone viral, Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffrey Lamar Williams, was seen sitting next to his attorney as Kahlieff Adams approached him and shook his hand. At that moment, the latter slipped a Percocet into Thug’s hands.

The police presence in the courtroom quickly recognized the exchange and immediately confronted Young Thug about the same and asked him to hand over the pill. The agents also took Kahlieff Adams and proceeded to search him for additional drugs. They then discovered plastic-wrapped marijuana and tobacco along with food seasonings that were meant to hide the smell of drugs.

WSBTV reported that Michael Seiden also revealed on social media that Adams ingested some of the contraband in an attempt to hide the extent of the crime. However, they took him to Grady Hospital to infer how much of the substance he had consumed.

After Kahlieff Adams was caught for his actions, prosecutors filed a motion for the court to acknowledge that their January 18, 2023 hearing was delayed “due to the actions of defendant Williams and defendant Adams.”

Kahlieff Adams is serving a life sentence in Hays State Prison after being convicted of murder in 2019. He returned to court after dealing with charges of conspiracy to violate the RICO Act and attempted murder.

After his latest courtroom bootlegging antics, Adams has been charged with possession of an alcoholic beverage by an inmate, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, two counts of willful obstruction of law enforcement officers and possession of Schedule II controlled substances. .

Along with Adams, co-defendants in the case, Damone Blalock and Rodalius Ryan were also charged with unauthorized possession of a prohibited item by an inmate. Blalock was also charged with obtaining and delivering a prohibited item to an inmate without authorization.

Keith Adams, at the rapper’s lawyers made a public statement regarding the situation. He announced that Young Thug had nothing to do with the matter and immediately handed over the item Kahlieff Adams had given him. Adams said:

“The reality is that Mr. Williams has nothing to do with what happened in the courtroom yesterday. One of the co-defendants, on his way to the bathroom, attempted to pass something to Mr. Williams, who immediately handed it over to the officer. We don’t know what the item is. He didn’t know what it was. I handed it over to the deputy immediately. Deputies took action. The individual with the contraband, not Mr. Williams, was taken to the back, where I was told that he ingested everything he had. He had to be taken to the hospital, and as a result, the court was adjourned for the rest of the day.”

Young Thug and other YSL gang associates are on trial after violating Georgia’s organized crime laws. The rapper was charged with committing a series of criminal acts including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, murder and attempted armed robbery.
