US Marshals raid the wrong apartment

The Staples residence was a “target of the investigation” and sheriffs “did not enter,” according to the statement, which did not include an apology for the confusion, NBC News reported. “No, sorry, there is nothing,” Staples said. “They came back an hour later and said, ‘We just want to explain to you that we saw a black man running up the stairs and we thought he came to your apartment, but he didn’t come to your apartment and it turns out that he wasn’t the black man we were looking for.’ “Staples told WFTS.
Meanwhile, the new mom said that she has had trouble sleeping since the gruesome encounter. “I think it happens more than people realize and it can happen to anyone,” Staples said.
