Jzapal Jackson was born on the 10^th June 1990, in New York City, USA, of American, African and German descent, and better known by her stage name Jhonni Blaze,  is a hip hop artist, who is probably best recognized for being one of the supporting cast of the fifth season of the reality TV series “Love & Hip Hop: New York”, which was aired on the VH1 channel. She is also known for being a model.

Childhood and Early Life

Jhonni Blaze had a very difficult childhood, as she was raised with seven siblings by her parents who were poor and struggled to survive. When she was 15 years old, Jhonni started drinking alcohol, and stripping in order to earn money.

She attended Hillcrest High School, and from an early age she was interested in music, and learnt to play such musical instruments as violin, piano, guitar, drums and clarinet, and at the age of 17 she tried to enroll in the Juilliard Performing Arts School in New York. Although she was unsuccessful, it did not stop her following her dreams.

Speaking about her career, Jhonni Blaze worked as a stripper to earn enough money for her family, as well as for investing in her musical career. She eventually caught the attention as Twerk Queen of some people, who helped her to enter the entertainment industry as a reality television personality, appearing as one of the supporting cast in the fifth season of the VH1 reality TV series entitled “Love & Hip Hop: New York” in 2014.

When the season was ended, she continued to pursue her musical career, and has since released such singles as “Revolver” and “Problems” in 2015, and “Speechless” and “Bad Woman” in 2018.

Modeling Career

Jhonni’s interests expanded and she began taking steps towards a career as a model. Her name became steadily better known, and she has been covered in such magazines as Hip Hop Weekly, XXL, King and TMZ, among many others. She has also appeared as a model in various music videos for such artists as French Montana, Jim Jones, Chris Brown and Young Berg.

To speak about her career as a model, Jhonni Blaze also made appearances in two film titles – “Straight Stuntin Chronicles: Volume 3 – The Man In The Mirror” and “Frank Chase In The Streets Of Harlem”.
