Biography
Pte Jethro Watson-Pickering of the 1st Battalion, Yorkshire Regiment, was part of a crew operating an armored vehicle in Wiltshire on Friday. The vehicle rolled over near Enford and collided with a tree, trapping several soldiers inside, a source told the BBC. The Yorkshire Regiment said on Facebook that its thoughts and prayers were with the Pte Watson-Pickering family.
He also confirmed that the 23-year-old was from the town of Boosbeck, in Redcar and Cleveland, North Yorkshire.
