James Toliver Craig was captured Sunday on a first-degree murder charge in association with the death of Angela Craig, a mother of six, police say.

Specialists say the Colorado dental specialist associated with killing her partner by slipping a toxic substance into her protein shakes allegedly had a long history of medicating her. It is unclear if Craig petitioned the charge or retained an attorney to comment for his sake. The 45-year-old dental specialist is blamed for killing Angela, his better half and the mother of his six children, by administering a lethal dose of potassium cyanide between Hike 6 and Hike 15.

According to capture testimony investigated by People, this isn’t the first time Craig has allegedly hurt her.

Specialists say Craig recently hurt Angela, 43, “five or many years ago.” An individual close to the victim allegedly let police know that Craig had “sedated” her. [Angela] (with an obscure medicine) as he intended to go to the bathroom and infuse himself with a deadly infusion of something and be done with it.”

“James told Angela that he reassured her that she would not track him down or have the option of saving him, which would give the deadly drugs time to kill him,” the redacted oath reads.

Referring to the instant messages between the few, the specialists assure that Angela knew about the previously stated damage attempt. “I feel calm,” she texted James from the Walk 6 ER clinic. “Given our set of experiences, I realize it should be triggered,” she reportedly replied.

A person close to Angela allegedly told police that Craig claimed he was “dependent on pornography since he was a child” and had “numerous engagements with some women.”

Things were progressing, according to police, who claimed to have found evidence that Craig was exchanging “close” and “physically unmistakable” messages with an orthodontist in Austin, Texas, with whom he wanted to “start another life.” His supposed mistress traveled to Aurora to visit him while Angela was at the medical clinic, according to the oath.
