Who is Isabella Sierra?

Colombian actress, singer and social media star Isabella Sierra Ibagon was born under the zodiac sign Gemini on 26 May 2005, in Neiva, Colombia. She has nine acting credits and is perhaps known best for portraying Sofia Mendoza in 113 episodes of the action crime series “La Reina del Sur” since 2019; the series was created by Dario Vanegas and Lina Uribe in 2011, and today stars Alejandro Calva, Humberto Zurita and Kate del Castillo. It follows Teresa Mendoza as she’s fighting drug dealers in Mexico, and the series has won five of its 11 award nominations.

Education and early life

Isabella was raised in Neiva alongside her brother and two sisters, by their father Jhon Jarvi Sierra Gutierrez and mother Alejandra Sierra; not many details have been shared about Isabella’s family but it’s believed that her father’s a farmer and her mother a nurse.

Her only other film role has been portraying Carmen in the 2022 horror “El Sacrificio”, which starred Adrian Mora, Stella Lauri and Freddy D’Elia, and was written and directed by Alberto Serra. It follows two sisters who’ve arrived at their grandmother’s farm only to learn that an elderly woman there has been consumed by a curse.

In 2019, Isabella played a supporting character in six episodes of the biographical romantic drama “Big Steps”, which today stars Andrea Guzman, Veronica Orozco and Enrique Carriazo, and follows the life of controversial bootblack Luis Eduardo Diaz; the series has been nominated for two awards.
