Found Dead in the Hotel Room
Imran Aliev was said to have ran a YouTube channel, in which he always criticized the Chechen regime backed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The suspects had already fled away. However, an investigation has been launched to find 35-year-old Chechen suspect who police believe is the killer.
The Suspect for the killing may be political, the source claims.
A knife found at the scene has been sent to a forensic laboratory for analysis, according to the source.
Police have launched a murder investigation, but no arrests have been made
The Chairman of the Chechen Human Rights Association, based in Sweden, told CNN that Aliev was known for his “harsh and offensive remarks” about people of the Caucasus as well as his criticism of the Chechen regime.
“He was killed as a warning to others, thus trying to intimidate everyone who criticizes ‘Russian protégé’ in Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov”.
The official said that police are now hunting for the man’s traveling companion, who disappeared shortly after the murder.
