Hoodie Allen is an American rapper, vocalist, lyricist, and entertainer who quit his workplace at Google to pursue his enthusiasm for music. Over time, it has featured collections, expanded plays and tracks such as All About It (with Ed Sheeran), Happy Camper, The Hype, People Keep Talking, No Faith In Brooklyn (with Jhameel), Which USA, All Americano , Americoustic, You’re Not a Robot, Show Me What You’re Made Of, Movie, Know It All, Come Home (with Kina Grannis), Are You Having Fun? (with Meghan Tonjes), Cake Boy, Champagne and Pools (with Blackbear and KYLE), Dumb for You and The Moment (with Travis Garland).
He started creating verses as a child and used to sing raps for his peers at local gatherings. After leaving the University of Pennsylvania, Hoodie worked at Google as an AdWords Partner in their AdWords Standardized Reseller Training (START) program.

While working at Google, I would leave at 7:00am for a shuttle ride to the Googleplex in Mountain View, work a whole day, come back at 6:00pm, compose tunes, answer fan messages, and schedule shows until 2:00pm. 00:00 p.m. or 3:00 a.m.
Hoodie Allen has always been enthusiastic about music, so every time he had amazing opportunities to do live shows, he decided to leave Google. Describing his time working at Google, he once said, “I was moving so fast, and even while I was at Google there was so much going on that I felt like I was doing two positions a day.”
On October 14, 2014, he self-delivered his debut studio collection called People Keep Talking and was ranked #2 on both the US (Billboard) Top Rap Albums and Top Rap Albums charts. US R&B/Hip-Hop Albums (Billboard) chart and at #8 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
Hoodie Allen’s second studio collection, Happy Camper, was released on January 22, 2016 and peaked at #1. 1 on the US Top Rap Albums chart (Billboard), at No. and at #28 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
He has also appeared in the double demo sketch parody web series, Jake and Amir.
