American Idol will premiere with season 21 in less than a day. Viewers will meet a new group of contestants who arrive hoping to impress the judges with their audition.
The popular reality talent competition series will premiere with its first round of auditions on Sunday evening, February 19, 2023, at 8 p.m. m. ET/ 7 p.m. m. CT at ABC. One of the contestants featured in the first episode is Haven Madison, a high school student and cheerleader.

Teenager Haven Madison hails from Clarksville, Tennessee. At a young age, she was chosen for America’s platinum ticket in the famous American Music Rewards. By the way, Haven is the daughter of Jason Roy of the Grammy-nominated contemporary Christian band, Building 429.
According to her Spotify bio, Haven grew up on a tour bus. Her father, who was always on tour, took her family with them, so she was home-schooled until a certain age. It was while on tour with her father that Haven found her passion for music.
Haven has already released quite a bit of her own music, including her EP All the Things I Didn’t Say, which also includes a duet with her own brother. In an exclusive interview with Clarksville Now, Haven talked about the first time she played herself and how her father encouraged her to do it:
“He said, ‘Go out and sing with him!’ I was like…absolutely not. He said, ‘I’ll pay you $20 if you go out!’ And he picked it up! He said, ‘I’ll pay you 40 bucks if you come out and sing like you’re already here.'”
She recalled the biggest moment of hers when she opened for Hill Fest:
“It was ‘Haven Madison: Opening.’ It was crazy to get there and see my name on the jerseys; someone asked me to sign things and they wanted pictures with me. I was like, ‘What is this world?’ It was my first moment of, Here’s my mark.”
Opening about her auditioning for American Idol; she shared:
“I got right into it thinking, ‘Man, I’m probably going to come here, sing my song, thanks for coming, now go away.’ I was still convinced until I stood in front of the three judges that maybe this was a scam. “.
