Harry Styles right now has a lucky acting resume for a tender foot, from Christopher Nolan’s “Dunkirk” to the upcoming “Don’t Worry Darling” and “My Policeman.” But the pop star communicated Monday at the Venice International Film Festival that, with acting, he often feels like he “has no idea what I’m doing.”
Styles’ appearance at the Lido, where “Don’t Worry Darling” will have its world premiere on Monday night, has been one of the most anticipated events of a star-studded festival. In a public meeting prior to the performance, Styles received many requests about his fans, his calling, and whether he would work with boss Olivia Wilde again, none of which he responded to.
In “Don’t Worry Darling,” Styles plays Jack, who works for the quirky Project Victoria, run by Chris Pine’s alluring religion as a pioneer, in a mid-century-style rough-and-tumble neighborhood. Florence Pugh plays Jack’s better half, Alice, who receives all the comforts in the world in exchange for no explanations about some major issues. However, she soon begins to see cracks in the varnish.

Styles returned home during the days of his Madison Square Garden appearances to attend the Venice debut of “Don’t Worry Darling” with Wilde and co-stars Pine and Gemma Chan.
