Port Clinton police and individuals from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation on Monday night started looking through an empty house in the 500 square of East fifth Street, over the road from the Dilly living arrangement.

Harley wrote on the thread, “Watch me my name is Harley Dilly 2.0.” Another user then wrote, “Hi trash.” He wrote, “How the f*ck you find me?” The other user responded, “I find anyone.” Harley wrote, “Except for me IRL.” The other user wrote, “I’m ready,” to which a second user added, “Y’all need to chill damn 🤣🤣.” Months later, a person wrote, “Hey this kid went missing 11 days ago.”

While Hickman did not yet elaborate on the specific nature of the update, a member of the Dilly family shared in a post on Facebook that police have confirmed Harley was found dead on Monday.

The Port Clinton Police Department announced shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday that they would be holding a news conference at noon today regarding the update in the investigation of Dilly’s disappearance, according to Chief Rob Hickman.

Dilly, 14, was most recently seen around 6 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, when he left for school. Police accept he was seen in a reconnaissance camera video taken that morning while he was going across the road before his home.
