The owner of the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield tells us they’ve been in touch with Hagen’s family and will be handling his service. The woman was reportedly taken to the hospital but survived the shooting. It’s unclear what her relationship was with Hagen.

Hagen Mills died in Mayfield, Kentucky on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, in an attempted murder-suicide.

According to the Mayfield Police Department, Mills reportedly tried to kill his ex-girlfriend Erica Price. Price suffered gunshot wounds to her arm and chest. He then turned the gun on himself.
Price was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition. Mills was pronounced dead at the scene. Price’s mother and daughter were not injured during the incident. According to the police investigation, Mills had held his 4-year-old daughter with Erica Price and Price’s mother at her home.
On March 30, 2020, Mills was arrested and charged with first-degree rape and sodomy, as well as kidnapping and possession of methamphetamine. He was bonded out of prison on Monday, May 18, 2020.
