Gloria Alvarado Wiki – Gloria Alvarado Biography
Gloria Alvarado was last seen by her mother around 9 p.m. on Nov. 1 at their family home in the city of Taylor, about 18 miles outside of Detroit. When her mother came into her bedroom to wake her for school the next morning, she was gone.
Tina Alvarado told Fox 2 Detroit her daughter’s phone was laying on the bed, the curtain was hanging off the window, which was wide open. Its screen had been cut.
“Gloria is basically a homebody,” her mother, Tina, told News-Herald. “We do stuff as a family. She was a straight-A student. She was in the band at her school, and she had been cheerleading since she was 5 years old. She was happy-go-lucky.”
“Wherever she is I hope she is ok. I wish she would just call me. I just want my baby back and I want her to call me,” she also said to Fox 2.
Gloria Alvarado Age
Gloria Alvarado was 15 years old.
Gloria was last seen Sunday, Nov. 1. Her mother discovered her daughter’s disappearance when she went to wake her up for school the next day.
The bedroom window was open, the screen had been cut and the girl’s cell phone had been left behind.
“Her phone was on her pillow and she was gone,” Tina Alvarado said. “I started screaming. I told my 21-year-old son that Gloria’s gone and we searched the house, then called 911. We have been looking for her ever since.”
Her parents’ bedroom is next to Gloria’s bedroom, but Tina said they didn’t hear any noises overnight that woke them up. They have a dog, but it was tied up in the backyard.
According to her mother, Gloria does not fit the profile of the type of teen to run away. The night before she disappeared, Gloria went shopping with her father and her sister, and everything seemed fine.
She’s been missing 12 days already,” Tina Alvarado said. “We don’t sleep. We barely even eat. It’s too hard. We just want her home. We want Gloria to come home.”
With no clues to her whereabouts, it may seem like searching for a needle in a haystack, but her parents are relentless.
“We drive around all night,” Ramon Alvarado said. “All day, all night. I miss my baby.”
Gloria is 5 foot, 2 inches tall and weighs 168 pounds. She may be wearing white and pink Air Jordan gym shoes.
Anyone who thinks they may have information about the whereabouts of Gloria Alvarado is urged to contact Detective Andrew Snavely at 734-287-6611, ext. 2007.
“I have faith she will be found,” Tina Alvarado said. “We will find her.”
Tina and Ramon Alvarado have been married for 28 years and have three children. Gloria was the baby of the family.
Taylor police are investigating the disappearance, but her family believes someone has vital information and hopes they will come forward before the trail goes cold.
Right now, one of the few leads police have is a brief video clip from a neighbor’s security camera that shows the silhouette of a man getting out of a car that pulled up in front of the family’s home on the evening of her disappearance, although it is not clear if this is the person responsible for her disappearance.
According to Tina Alvarado, that man showed up in the video clip at around 1 a.m.
