Glenn Hirsch, a 51-year-old New Yorker, made headlines when he shot a Chinese restaurant delivery man in the chest as the man went about his business. Glenn Hirsch was the vicious criminal who killed that helpless delivery man in such a horrible way. Zhiwen Yan was recognized as the delivery man.
After brutally killing the innocent Zhiwen, Glenn Hirsch earned the nickname “Duck Sauce Killer”. Glenn reportedly ambushed Zhiwen in Forest Hills while he was riding a scooter. Police quickly arrested Glenn for Zhiwen’s murder. However, Glenn was released after posting $500,000 bail.
He was scheduled to appear in court today for additional court hearings in this case, but was unable to make it. Just hours before his court appearance, Glenn passed away. Glenn was scheduled to appear before the US Supreme Court for further hearings on the murder charges against him, but he was discovered dead on Friday, August 5.
Glenn Hirsch was found dead on his fully plastic-enclosed couch while wearing plastic gloves and brandishing a gun. He was discovered by police officers holding a revolver and gloved hands as he lay unconscious on his couch. In addition, the police discovered a typed suicide note in which the man claimed not to have killed Zhiwen and sent a lengthy letter to Zhiwen’s lawyers. In his note, he denied killing the delivery man and acknowledged that he was dead.

Even in his suicide note, he claimed that the court system was unfair to him and that he was upset about the unfair treatment as a result.
