TV Gaurav began his career and gained notoriety through the Life Nahin Hai Laddoo sequence in 2001, which aired on Star Plus, followed by his supporting character of Nandu in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi in 2006, where he appeared with Mona Singh. Movies In 2004, Gaurav had the opportunity to work on the moving movie Kyun… ! Ho Gaya Na, coordinated by Samir Karnik and created by Bony Kapoor. Later, in the year 2008, he appeared in the movie Dasvidaniya, where he played the personality of Vivek.
