A nine-month pregnant woman was found dead in Riverview Park in Jacksonville, Florida, on Saturday, September 25. The woman, identified as Felicia Jones, 21, was due to give birth next week, on October 8, 2021. She was reportedly expecting a baby. The shocking incident came to light around 6 a.m. local time on Saturday, when her lifeless body was discovered by an individual walking inside the park.
Although the cause of her death has not yet been determined, the police are treating the case as “a suspicious death and a crime is expected.” The death of Felicia Jones comes at a time when the entire nation is shaken by the death of Gabby Petito and the mysterious disappearance of her fiancé Brian Laundrie. Amid the growing uproar over crimes against women, the tragic death of Felicia Jones is a brutal blow.
According to First Coast News, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call early in the morning, reporting Jones’s unconscious body. Speaking to First Coast News, Williams urged: “I want Jacksonville to join in on this. We can’t let this go. We can’t let this happen. We need everyone to join in. This is an unborn baby ready to be born in two weeks. A beautiful young woman who just turned 21 this month. ”
He added: “Felicia, better known as Fee Fee, was a beautiful person inside and out. She had that bubbly spirit. Even if she was going through something, you couldn’t tell because she was that kind of person with whom she had a lot of strength. I was super excited to be a new mom. ”
Williams also condemned the heinous crime saying, “We want answers. We want to know why. We don’t understand who would commit such a disgusting crime.
