Fatima Garcia Avila, 21, is accused of telling a friend about her involvement in a convoluted double murder scheme while threatening to kill them if they spoke out. She is accused of soliciting to commit murder after police claim she sought to carry out the threat.

According to deputies, Negrete stole a Chevy Avalanche truck, which they subsequently destroyed, and Garcia Avila fled in the car they arrived in.

But it didn’t end there. The duo allegedly intended to blame Garcia Avila’s ex-boyfriend Cuellar-Enriquez for killing Aviles. According to deputies, Garcia Aliva enticed Cuellar-Enriquez to her house by messaging him to say she wanted to spend the night with him. Garcia Avila is accused of having overdosed him at first by administering too many painkillers.

According to deputies, when that failed, she called Negrete over.“Daniel Negrete then struck Antonio Cuellar-Enriquez on the head with a firearm and then there was a brief struggle before Daniel Negrete shot Antonio Cuellar-Enriquez multiple times,” authorities said. “Fatima Garcia yelled at Daniel Negrete not to shoot Antonio Cuellar-Enriquez just before the shots were fired,” the affidavit states. “

After the shooting, Daniel Negrete and Fatima Garcia got into a brief physical altercation, during which Daniel Negrete threatened to shoot her. Fatima Garcia then grabbed the gun while it was in Daniel Negrete’s hand and made him raise it to her head, and she told him to just kill her but she did not believe he was ‘about that life.’”

Garcia Avila is accused of sending an apology to Aviles’ father via Cuellar-mobile Enriquez’s after the shooting in an effort to make it appear as though “he (Antonio) killed the girl (Erica) or knew someone who killed the girl.” It said, “This was not the plan,” and asked for forgiveness in Spanish. Cuellar-Enriquez was close to the family and had previously worked at the father of Aviles’ tyre business.

The witness added that Garcia Avila told them to make Cuellar-passing Enriquez’s “appear like a suicide or an overdose” in his explanation of the plan. The couple is accused of first-degree murder, and the prosecution is calling for the death penalty. Cornelio Negrete, Negrete’s cousin, was also accused of participating in the murder’s planning.
