Eloise Chairs was a mother of five from Illinois who was shot dead in a crowded Chuck E. Cheese after quarreling with another mother over her son’s card game.

According to WQAD, the family of Eloise Chairs told the news outlet that she was killed after getting into an argument over one of her son’s game cards, which she believed was taken by another child. During that altercation, the friend of the parent Chairs confronted grabbed a gun and shot Chairs in the shoulder. The bullet hit a major artery and Chairs bled to death.

Chairs’ sister, Christena Chairs, told local news station WQAD, that Eloise was a loving mother who always put her kids first, and that her children saw her get shot.

“Eloise always puts her children first,” Sister Christena Chairs told WQAD. “ Eloise was killed in front of her children, the blood-covered them all. ”

Shooting Incident

She was killed after getting into an argument over one of her son’s game cards, which she believed was taken by another child. In a family-run restaurant that is supposed to host children’s birthdays and other festive occasions, Treshonda M. Pollion, 24, a friend of the other mother’s, allegedly pulled out a gun and shot at chairs. Pollion fled the fast-food restaurant after the shooting, police said.

A bullet struck Chairs in the shoulder, struck a major artery, and caused her to bleed to death.
