What was the main problem? 102 Senior Duli Chand Shown, who lives in Haryana Rohtak, came out and sat in a lavishly planned carriage with sunglasses and a turban on the rath, clutching the board with the line “thara fufa Abhi Zinda hai”.

He did so intentionally claiming that he had not collected the old-age annuity since the beginning of 2022 and was disappointed with the activity of the public authority. He appeared dead in the records of the public authority.

He even registered a complaint in the CM office last month, but no activity was done later; he said that he had been trying to prove that he is alive for a long time with various ID cards like Adhar card, PAN card, but nothing was finished, so he made this move to prove that he is alive.

Government activity regarding the issue: According to government authorities, an amendment request was sent from the Department of Social Welfare requesting that Chand’s family accept his benefits within 2-3 days.

A Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) came forward stating that the Haryana government had moved Rs 97.5 crore to dead beneficiaries between 2017-2020. Similarly, a further Rs 2.33 crore was transferred to deceased beneficiaries, but these were treated as standard benefit accounts.

Clerics are tweeting on Duli Chand’s side that this exceptionally dishonest way of behaving from government divisions is deliberately harming and pushing elderly people for their freedoms.

In Chand, however, there are many more cases in Haryana where the old benefits are suspended, and no one listens to the complaints of these candidates. Once these cases are overcome, the central command will restore the life annuity.
