In about 2001, Mamman adopted an even later birth year, 1947, which he relied on to become a naturalized British citizen, allowing him to continue working well beyond the age of 65.
At Mamman’s sentencing hearing, his lawyer claimed that the trust that Royal Oldham manages had also failed Ms. Parveen, citing a “catalog of failures” between 2015 and 2018 in relation to the doctor. “He should never have been allowed to be in the position he was in,” said Michael Hayton KC.
