Dean Browning Wiki – Dean Browning Biography
Dean Browning, a white political activist from Pennsylvania, acknowledges he accidentally tweeted about being “a black gay guy,” but his explanation as to why has only further deepened an internet mystery into how the now-deleted tweet came to be.
He is a former commissioner in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Dean and his wife Cheryl celebrated their 32nd anniversary in December 2019 and reside in South Whitehall Township in Lehigh County along with their three dogs.
The Republican former Lehigh County commissioner, who lost a congressional primary this year, bills himself on Twitter as “a proud pro-life & pro-2A Christian conservative dedicated to enacting common sense solutions to Keep America Great.”
Dean Browning’s age is unknown.
Dean Browning Dan Purdy Twitter Gay Black Man
Browning, a Caucasian man who’s been married to wife Cheryl for 32 years, and who lost the Republican primary for Lehigh Valley’s 7th Congressional District in June 2020, appeared to tweet, “I’m a black gay guy and I can personally say that Obama did nothing for me, my life only changed a little bit and it was for the worse. Everything is so much under Trump though. I feel respected which I never do when democrats are involved.”
Browning describes himself as a “proud pro-life & pro-2A Christian conservative,” as his Twitter photo and bio clearly illustrate. None of this makes sense, but don’t worry, it will make even less sense soon.
To anyone who has spent enough time watching pro-Trump conservatives and #resistance liberals argue on the internet, it seemed extremely clear what had taken place. Browning was the owner of another Twitter account, one claiming to be a gay Black man who loved Trump, and he simply forgot to log in to it before posting the reply (this is often called “sock puppeting” online). Immediately, users began to flood into the discussion, calling out Browning’s accidental exposure of his fake burner account.
Dan Purdy, who looks exactly like William Holte,
While numerous Twitter users doubted Browning’s excuse, the alleged Dan Purdy, who looks exactly like William Holte, LaBell’s adopted son, posted a video to defend his tweets. The Black man claiming to be Purdy said in a since-deleted video, “Hey guys, my name is Dan Purdy, and I am indeed a gay, black man. The message that you saw on Dean’s Twitter, actually I don’t know how it was posted, but I did send it to him because I had a problem with how people of my race and s**exual persuasion are treating Donald Trump. I don’t have a problem with Donald Trump on those levels.”
Regarding the tweet that is going viral from my account — I was quoting a message that I received earlier this week from a follower.
Sorry if context was not clear.
Trump received record minority votes & record LGBTQ votes.
Many people won’t say it vocally, but do in private.

Washington Post correspondent Philip Bump pointed out that the Twitter handle @DanPurdy322 has repeatedly commented on Browning’s tweets and tweeted out this message to Huffington Post Editorial Director Noah Michaelson.
While Dan Purdy is a real person, his real name is not Dan Purdy, it appears to be William Holte, aka Bly Holte, who was adopted by his aunt, LaBelle, along with his sister Stayce, after their mother Jackie Holte died in 1989.
Holte’s Facebook page had the same profile picture as Purdy. However, Twitter has since suspended Purdy’s account. Another Twitter account that appeared to be owned Byl Holte, @IncrediByl — was also suspended.
A video shared by Browning as evidence for his claim was viewed more than 200,000 times before Twitter permanently suspended the account for violating the platform’s rules, according to a statement emailed to USA TODAY.
The nearly minute-long video featured a man who appears to be sitting at home. “… I am indeed a gay, black man. The message that you saw on Dean’s Twitter was posted — I don’t actually know how it was posted — but I did send it to him because I had a problem with how people of my race and sexual persuasion are treating Donald Trump.”
