“Davy was the best of her. It was a pleasure to see her at work, always ready to help, always so kind and positive, and she always brought us food,” wrote a commenter on the family’s GoFundMe page. “She has spoken out and stood up for me when she needed it. I will miss her so much. I will be praying continually for her husband and hers, her little ones. Davy, thank you for your kindness and joy. I will always treasure my memories of you .. ”

“He’s the guy who would take your shirt off your back if you were cold, that’s the kind of person he is. These two people … They are wonderful people,” said Davy’s brother Vong Serey. Vandana says that she texted him. “He was trying to breathe and he said, if someone isn’t vaccinated, I suggest they do it now,” she said.
