Fans are heartbroken to learn that Christina Watkins is leaving WDSU. Christina Watkins, a writer at WDSU, is seeking employment elsewhere to join another news station at her home in Orlando, Florida. He released his statement through his official Twitter account @CWatkinsWDSU. Additionally, Watkins said that March 4 would be her last day working with WDSU.

She said: “Dear New Orleans, I love you. This is always my home! However, after more than 10 years of my CASA in Orlando, now is the right time to be with family and fulfill the fantasy of working at @WESH! “My last day at @wdsu is March 4th. This is why this movement involves so much.” she tweeted.

To counter that, CNN’s Darryl Forges said: “Congratulations, Christina. There is no place like home! My family in New Orleans loves to see you. “Your enthusiasm and authenticity show on camera. Bring that second line all the way to Orlando with you! Gifts for you and your next part, mate! she added.

This is where Christina Watkins goes. Christina Watkins will be joining WESH in her old neighborhood in Orlando, Florida. WESH is an NBC-partnered television program licensed for Daytona Beach serving Orlando, Florida. WESH is important to a duopoly with Clermont-licensed CW station WKCF.

The station is owned by the Hearst Television subsidiary of New York City-based Hearst Communications (station 18). Both news stations share studios on North Wymore Road in Eatonville.

WESH was previously the default NBC subsidiary of the Gainesville market because the station’s single transmitter carried a city-grade closed-door signal in legitimate Gainesville. From his Tweet, it’s apparent that he needs to be close to his relatives and live in the city where he spent much of his time on earth.

After living her childhood in Oviedo, Christina moved to Miami to go to school, a small town west of Orlando. She moved from Florida International University in 2012.

While in school, Watkins served as FIU’s secondary football, ball and baseball correspondent. He spoke with some players and mentors, including former NBA Hall of Famer and former men’s basketball head coach Isiah Thomas.
