Frederick Region Sheriff Charles Austin Jenkins, 66, and a Maryland gun retailer have been indicted on charges of deception and misleading explanations for obtaining and leasing automatic weapons. The arms dealer, Robert Justin Krop, 36, is charged with illegal possession of assault rifles, according to a public statement from the Department of Equity (DOJ).
