Esom is a South Korean artist and model who is known for having been featured on different shows such as White Christmas, Ghost, Taxi Driver, because This Is My First Life, The Third Charm, Save Me 2, and British Memories.

Additionally, Esom has also appeared in movies such as Samjin Company English Class, My Exceptional Brother, Man on High Heels, Microhabitat, Santa Barbara, My Little Brother, Warriors of the Dawn, The X, Scarlet Innocence, The Queen of Crime, Like para Likes, Second Half, The Gifted Hands, Hindsight and The Last Blossom.

Alongside Jung Woo-sung, he co-starred as Deok-yi in the exciting 2014 film Scarlet Innocence, a modern take on the Korean folk tale Simcheongga. This work earned Esom the Director’s Cut Award for “Best New Actress” in 2015. He was cast as Duk-yi in the 2017 original film Warriors of the Dawn, set during the Imjin War of 1592.

In 2017, she played Miso in the movie Microhabitat and won her few honors including the Busan Film Critics Award for “Best Actress” and the Wildflower Film Award for “Best Actress”.

The work also awarded him the Blue Dragon Film Award, Chunsa Film Art Award, and Grand Bell Award. Esom appeared as Lee Young-jae, an  nrestrained and passionate yet genuine lady, in the 2018 light-hearted comedy TV series The Third Charm.

She co-starred as Jung Yoo-na in the 2020 satire film Samjin Company English Class. For this exhibition, Esom won the Blue Dragon Film Award for “Best Supporting Actress” and the Buil Film Award for “Star of the Year”, as well as being selected for the Baeksang Arts Award for “Best Supporting Actress – Film” and the Chunsa Film Art Award for “Best Supporting Actress”.

In 2021, she rejuvenated the persona of Kang Ha-na, a world-class examiner from the Seoul Northern District Public Prosecutor’s Office who later takes an interest in Do-gi’s works, in the TV series Taxi Driver.

The show is driven by truly genuine and shocking misdeeds perpetrated in Korea and this work won Esom the SBS Drama Award for “Greatness Award for an Actress in a Fantasy Genre/Drama Miniseries”.

He has also appeared on music recordings of songs such as Lee Min-ki’s Eternal Summer, Brown Eyed Girls’ Cleansing Cream, G-Dragon’s She’s Gone, and Tasty’s Day ‘n Night.
