Carol Challis is the wife of John Challis, who played Boycie on the long-running British comedy Just fools and horses, died at age 79 of cancer, his family confirmed. Challis was nearly 30 when he landed the role of Boycie, with the role initially only for one scene before his character became more prominent on the show. Boycie was married to the feisty Marlene, played by Sue Holderness, and their marriage became a running joke, with repeated jokes about his alleged promiscuity.
