Cardi B might after a short time express something with some new ink, all over it. Recently, tattoo artist Robinson De Los Santos took to Instagram to show a video of himself working on a tattoo on someone’s cheek, saying he was the 29-year-old rapper.
“Work today cardi B,” he captioned the 13-second closing, and that means “work today.” In the video, De Los Santos focuses on his client’s cheek, which appears to have red ink, as several people look on. While it’s hard to tell if it really is Cardi that’s stuck, a photo of the two of them was posted this way and obtained by various fan accounts
It’s unclear if the stuntman or Cardi shared the snapshot, but in the photo, the singer is smiling and a bit of the tattoo should be visible near her jawline.
Cardi can’t really show off the tattoo through arcade games, but she did share some other new selfies on Monday. “Temple ass,” she captioned a photo of her on Instagram. On Twitter, she added two additional snaps, saying, “I’m smiling anyway where it counts on the inside. I want my hairpiece and lashes.”
The new ink comes quite some time after she told fans in January that she was “close” to getting her and Offset’s 11-month-old Wave’s name written everywhere. “Sporadic anyway… I’m about 1% close and also tattooing my kids name everywhere,” she tweeted. “I really need to get it going!” Offset, meanwhile, has her daughter’s name, Kulture, written all over it.
The following month, Cardi and Offset got their wedding date tattooed with the help of tattoo specialist Nikko Hurtado and revealed it on an episode of Cardi Tries. “Husband tattooed for Valentine’s Day,” she captioned a video on Instagram by then.
Cardi also has an Offset tattoo on the back of her thigh, as well as her sister’s name, Hennessy, tattooed on her left bicep.
